I bought a BeAn Angel Collectible Christmas doll at the yard sale today. It'll go perfect with the holiday Barbie collection.

Maybe I will start a new tradition at Christmas including the chocolate gravy.

Just saw The Expendables very typical testosterone-charged movie. One saving grace of the whole movie was a guy whose nickname was Christmas!!! I just had to laugh. He was my favourite character too.

We are hoping The Expendables comes to our local theatre. It's such a pain to go into downtown Stockholm just to see a movie. We have seen the trailers online and it looks FANTASTIC!

We are going on a Baltic sea cruise Sept. 17/18 to celebrate the survival of university registration and my permanent resident visa. The evening smörgåsbord is very similar to a Swedish Christmas buffet! :dinner:

My siblings were here over Labor Day weekend to sort through more of our folks items. It was a long hard struggle to let go of some things..........

I came across an old recording of "Its Beginning to Look Alot Like Christmas" == a favorite of both my Mom & I and began to cry. I think I remember that song since I was a little tot.

Christmas memories last forever.

Noel-Even though it's painful for you now, I know that they love that you and your Mom share for your special Christmas song will be a memory that you will cherish forever. :holly1:

Today makes our 3rd straight day of rain. And no I am not complaining one bit. It was so dry and dusty. Now everything is perked up and green again. The trees are just starting to show their first hints of Fall color. :peekleaves2: It won't be long until they put on their spectacular color show. They only thing that can compete with that will be the beautiful sparkle of Christmas lights. :scene:

Yay!! My favorite Christmas site is up and running again. I tried several times over the weekend and it wouldn't work. Glad it's fixed. :smilecc:

I was in the pharmacy Friday and they have all their Christmas merchandise displayed. Also our dollar store is packed full of toys for Christmas!

 Christmas All Year site being down was 100% my fault - didn't quite renew the domain in time - missed by just a couple of hours, but it's up and going now.

Hubby was on vacation all last week, so we started working on the kitchen. We bought new appliances so he decided we needed a new floor to put the appliances on. Trying to convince him about getting new cabinets, but that is a much bigger expense. Of course the kitchen's not done yet; I hoping for it to be finished before our Santa Claus parade.

This weekend we didn't do any work on the kitchen instead we dropped the kids at the Grandparents and we stayed at a hotel to celebrate our 18th anniversary. It was good to have all day and night alone time.

Don't give it a second thought Mrs. Claus. I was afraid someone had hacked in to Christmas All Year and destroyed it.
Happy Anniversary as well!

Our DVR isn't working so I had to call and order a new one. So the bad news is I have lost all the wonderful Christmas shows I had recorded on it. But the good news is I get to find new Christmas shows and record them all over again. :D
