Christmas meets Easter. I always wanted to put up a full sized Easter tree. but I envisioned a pink or lavender tree as the background. I also wanted a halloween tree that was black with all sorts of halloween ornaments on it. Maybe some day.

Thanks for posting this link for us -- love new decorating ideas from Christmas to all holidays! :D

My wife and I went out to eat tonight. At the table next to us was a boy, around 6 years old, and he was singing Jingle Bells. Another Christmas lover. That made me smile. :D

Woke up to snow! It looks like Christmas! We do often have snow until Easter but since it went away so soon, I do not think it will last until then. :snowwow:

I told hubby we have to watch Easter Parade today before midnight. Somehow watching that without the sound and swedish subtitles is definitely NOT THE SAME. Same with the Easter beagle though he does have alot of "Snobben" (Snoopy/Peanuts cartoons in swedish) we could watch. Scooby doo is also not quite the same in Swedish.

Getting in my last minute english easter listening and watching today. I also told hubby that since we are having a swedish april, he does not get carrot/raisin salad for Easter since that seems to be a distinctly american thing. Could not even find a swedish recipe for it though we have coleslaw and "dallas" salad in the stores. :dinner:

I can sympathize with the unseasonably hot weather you're having Noel. It's 84 degrees today heading to a high temp in the 90's tomorrow. Nice.....if it was summer. 8-) I'm enjoying a lazy Saturday around the house. I took dd to a community Easter Egg hunt this morning. She had a blast. No prize eggs but lots and lots of candy. She even got her picture made with the Easter Bunny. She said it was almost as good as getting your picture made with Santa at Christmas time.
