What fun! We had some VHS episodes taped from TV Land but the tape broke from overuseage! This year I hope they do the Merry-Go-Christmas weekend again!

Noel What is the Merry-Go-Christmas weekend? Sounds very interesting. :smilecc:

Just have to share, DD and I are going to make some ornaments this week for our old-fashioned Christmas tree this year. We are using some patterns I found online for geometric shapes that will look so cool when we make them with my Christmas scrapbooking papers! I'm so excited to start on them! It's almost September!!! Woo!!!

Mistletoe Misfit- there are several TV channels that have Christmas episode marathons. Some have the same show while others offer lots of different shows. The variety is amazing but they all have the same wonderful theme.....Christmas!! :carolbells:

Last night I caught the wife looking up Christmas candy recipes on-line.
Now I REALLY can't wait for Christmas!
She was talking about making fudge and buckeyes.

That's great! Fudge and Ohio Buckeyes are great all year, but especially at Christmastime!

My father used to make the best fudge. If I am still unemployed I might try my hand at it as well as divinity. Swedes do not have the tradition of bringing baked goodies to work to share at Christmas. I try to change that. :dinner:  :snowwow:

Yesterday I had a GREAT day! I had the day off of work due to inventory (which I did NOT have to help with! Yay!), so my best friend and I planned a day together with NO KIDS! We had so much fun! We planned to do some shopping (read: browsing, because we are both broke! lol) and have lunch. Well, we only made it to Garden Ridge and Hobby Lobby, but we had so much fun at those two stores! They both have all of their Christmas stuff out all over! What a great day!! :holly1:
