I just finished a half day of work at home and am awaiting the delivery of our late christmas present of a new washing machine. It is not glamorous, but necessary. I was going to make scones, but realized I forgot to buy oranges for orange peel (no dried spice type in Sweden). We are supposed to get messy and Cold, but not as bad as the US I Think. I like the Hallmark Winterfest Movies as much as Christmas Movies. There are some of them on YouTube. Stay warm!

Jolly I hope your washing machine was delivered and installed without a hitch. They are necessary in a frozen land! And this weekend on Hallmark Channel they start their new Winter season of movies! Still, I prefer watching older Christmas ones, but will work in the new ones too. Fingers crossed you have a great and relaxing weekend.

We've had record high temperatures all year and starting 2018 in the same vein. All I have left are my dreams of a White Christmas. Planning now a trip way up north next December so we know in our hearts it really is Christmas time!
