Last year before Christmas I said I was working on a Christmas project.
I had forgot to post what it was after completing it.
So here it is.

My Christmas Lamp


Bought a lamp at Lowes on clearance. (Love a bargain)



Pulled it out of the box and disassembled it.



Painted it black. (Was gold)




Cutout a base.



Screwed it together and painted black.



Assembled and wired it.
Had my wife make my a bow.
Put it in the foyer.
One of my favorite Christmas decorations we have.

Thanks Noel! I got the idea after visiting a Christmas booth at an antique store last summer.

Drove by a house with a large display this weekend that had a large cross made out of lights and signs on each side that read "Jesus is the reason for the season".
Not sure if they had them out early for Christmas or still up for Easter. My bet would be Easter.

Our Hobby Lobby had some unpacked Christmas boxes in the back of the store! YAY -- I am so ready for Christmas crafts!!

It was 104F here today and I'm dreaming of a White Christmas too! Call me crazy!

Same here Noel summer has arrived early back to work full time .Christmas seems so far off but the countdown is on yeah !!!!!

And a little daily Christmas cheer speeds summer into Autumn! There are some great fantasy movies this summer too [Ironman 3, Star Trek, etc] to help pass the time.

And on Christmas in July we watch Christmas classic movies!
