Happy Anniversary....early. I remember you sharing you wanted the earrings too. And you can west them when you visit Texas. :D

Yes, I debated about that. As it would have been free shipping inside the US. but I decided I would rather have them by my anniversary and be able to wear them a few weeks before the trip. traveling with jewelry is a tough thing. Usually I travel with very cheap costume stuff, the things you really do not care if you lose or get stolen. But since I have been here 6 years and many have never met Perky, I wanted to "show off" my real wedding ring and anniversary ring as well as the earrings. I have read that it is best to wear your gold wedding ring as it will not do "ding" at the airport and put the rest in a simple plastic flip case (like for screws and things from the hardware store) so that if they want to see it from the ex ray of baggage, you can just flip it open and they can see what it is. Besides silver and CZ, the only "real gold" I have ever owned were my wedding rings and school rings. So looking forward to seeing all the Christmas decorations when we visit!

My anniversary earrings arrived yesterday! It was Christmas in September! Woohoo! Told hubby he got off cheap this year, next I want the gold anniversary band. When you get married at middle age, you have to "hurry things along". ;-)

I just sent emails to two Swedish companies asking if we can buy their special Christmas blend coffees early to take with us to Texas. Worse case, we either take a road trip to the local Ikea (Round Rock) or use Starbucks.

Merry Thursday Christmas all.

Did we observe a day of silence yesterday?
It sure has been quiet around here.
