I don't know who else gets Bonner's excellent e-newsletter, but I was sad to see today that they announced the Hummel figurine people are closing down.

Another fine collectible going out of business. Seems if its not made cheaply, with cheap labour, you can't compete. That and use vintage lovers growing smaller and smaller in number.

Oh, that so sad! I love Hummels!!! I own a set of bookends that I cherish that were handed down by my DH's grandmother!!!

A great Aunt of mine has a huge collection!!!! Theywill be missed! :cry:
