Traditionaly Mrs. Claus starts our new thread the first week in January. But I just couldn't wait anymore. I love this thread so much!!!

Now remember, in this thread we can talk about anything - how life is going, memorable moments, frustrations, joys, etc.. The only one "rule" is that somewhere in each post you mention the word 'Christmas'. It could be in your greeting or closing - you could just throw it in anywhere as long as it's there.

Have fun and Enjoy!

My family had such a wonderful Christmas this year. Santa was so good to all of us and even brought us a light dusting of snow on Christmas morning. :smilecc:

It started snowing here on Sunday night and we had a little over an inch on the ground by Monday. Have had a lot of fun playing in it but It's not fair to have snow and not have Christmas. :holly1:

Our dollar store just marked all the Christmas stuff 75% off. I was amazed at how much really good stuff they have left. I bought some activity books, quilted placemats, and a new pink sparkle tree skirt for dd's princess tree. :treegifts:

This year our entire church is participating in Operation Christmas Child. Last week we passed out information sheets and hopefully we will have a lot of participation. I have already bought several gifts for the shoeboxes. joyelf

My best after Christmas bargain so far has been a kids deluxe sleeping bag for $4. They had 2 left so I bought them both. Dd has been asking for one so we can go camping.

Dd is so funny. As soon as she opened up all her Christmas gifts she would say Mama why didn't HoHo bring me this or why didn't HoHo bring me that. I said well did you ask HoHo to bring it to you and she said No. I said that's why he didn't bring it. So she's already started writing her letter for next year. I might be in trouble. :D

I just finished watching the newest version of Robin Hood, with Russel Crowe. Good movie! :smilecc: My father bought himself a late Christmas present this weekend...a new tractor to help with the snow this winter (and lawn in the summer). It has been especially useful since it has snowed the last 4 days in a row! It still keeps me in the Christmas mood (like I need any help)!!! :holly1: Happy Saturday everyone! Goodnight. :flake:

I have been spending a nice relaxing day at my parent's house. Watched some football (unfortunately the Patriots lost). It is weird looking around the living room and not seeing any Christmas decorations...except for a snowman decoration. My mother says it's "wintery.". I like her thinking. :snowwow:

Church plus lots of family time equals a really great day for me. :D We have a chance of rain plus a wintry mix tonight then later in the week we have a chance for more snow. That will do alot to keep me in my Christmas mood. :smilecc:

I bought my Mom a Christmas gift today. A reindeer snnowglobe that I found in the avon outlet. It's really pretty. I also bought me two ornaments. I really wanted them before Christmas but I refused to pay 8 dollars a piece for plastic and glitter. :D

I had found some of last year's Hallmark Christmas ornaments on Amazon and am going to buy them for Christmas presents (and one for myself) for Christmas this year. I can't wait to get them!

I was walking though Sears tonight looking for a camera bag and saw that they still had some Christmas decorations up (trees and outside lighted decorations)... At a reduced price. They were a nice surprise. :scene:

We have a store close to where I live called The Christmas Loft. They have a 3/4 sized Victorian Village in the middle of the store that people can walk through. I am hoping I can go there latrper on this week so I can pick up some things. I love that place! :gbhouse:

Kiwi--That Christmas store sounds amazing! Hope you get to go. We used to have a year round Christmas store nearby but it closed a few years ago. :| I loved walking through it and just looking at all the beautiful things. :scene:

Another cold, dreary day here. It's drizzling rain but we didn't get any of the wintry mix they predicted. We have a good chance for snow Thursday though. Great day to stay in and watch Christmas movies.
