With the prices going up right now I thought I'd start a thread about what you are paying in your part of the world.

Here in Arkansas this morning the price of regular unleaded was $3.09. We also use diesel in our trucks and equipment and the price for diesel was $3.25.

What are you paying??

Still $3.79 here but with oil up over $113 a barrel yesterday, that price will look cheap in a few days.

I got gas for $3.16 today at Kroger. Haven't seen that "low" of a price in a while.
I think it's sad that I get a little excited about $3/gal gas prices.

I've heard that gas prices in my neck of the woods have gone down. Are you sure we need to drill here just to get them down? (A lot of people have suggested that Big Oil needs to give up their tax breaks, and I'm with them)

Would an electric car be easier to decorate for Christmas? Ha ha!

With LED lights, you could do a lot.

I have actually had a small battery-powered LED light set in my car as a decoration before.

Gas is around $3.50/gal right now in Georgia. I am hearing that it will keep going up thru summer. :|

Yes, gas prices are Christmas busters! It's up to $3.86 here and they predict $5 a gallon by summer!!!! Why the USA doesn't pursue independence and accept the Canadian oil pipeline deal is beyond me.

That is an excellent point Noel. We must also put a lot of time and resources towards developing alternative energies and fuel sources.
