Christmas Sightings 2011?

Postby sugarcookie » Mon Aug 22, 2011 8:53 am

Has anyone seen any Christmas items in the stores yet?

It's been a little while since I've been on here. I hope all is well with everyone.

Hi Sugarcookie! No new Christmas items here yet, although the shelves are already stocked with Halloween items. :pumpkin:

Hobby Lobby stores start putting out Christmas decorations and craft supplies at the end of July. I go in just to look around about every two weeks just to get my "Christmas Fix".
:D

Click on "Store Tour", then the "Seasonal" box in the lower left, then "Christmas" to see some examples. And that's just some of the stuff they have.

Hello CandyKane:) I'm starting to get more and more into Halloween and harvest decor. It kind of soothes me until I can decorate for Christmas. I like to use pre-lit harvest garland/wreaths and the plug-in pumpkins.

Our dollar store recently pulled out some old Christmas items. That's quite a feat when you consider its between 115-118F every day this week!

Hi Sugarcookie!
No Christmas items at our dollar store yet. Probably be another month at least before I see anything pooping up on the shelves.

Okay, sorry mm, I just had to - do you see the typo?

My girls haven't grown out of the "potty" talk stage and they're 10 & 12. I think they might get it from me. :P

Back to the topic - I haven't seen anything popping up on the shelves yet either.

LOL I really hope they don't start pooping on the shelves anytime of year!

Ya ,mine either and they are 11,9 and almost 7. My hubby is the one that teaches them though. Only problem is trying to teach our youngest when it is appropriate and when it is not.

That is hilarious. I hope nothing is "pooping" on the shelves  I have to tell this story...When my son, now 11, had just turned 2, he peed in a bowl of green olives that were in the refrigerator. I was like, why did you do that?...he said," I don't know."
