I'm enjoying a very lazy moring after a very, very busy Christmas Day! Had a wonderful time with family and good friends this year. And of course there was lots and lots of awesome food. I am so blessed and thankful for every moment. Merry Day after Christmas!!

I think I'll head out in awhile and hit some of the after Christmas sales. Now is the best time to buy for the Operation Christmas Child boxes.

Right now we are getting rain. It's suppossed to change to snow tonight. So it feels like Christmas more today than it did yesterday.

Taking kids to check out the post Christmas sales,,,,,don't know what I am thinking but hope I can keep my sanity.

I will be going to lunch and hitting up some after Christmas sales with my brothers and their wives/girlfriends. Another one of our traditions.

I actually want to get some more buildings for my Christmas village. I have already started planning it out!!

2000 by Christmas 2012... No problem...that is only 5.5 messages a day! We are already off to a great start!

Just had a great dinner of Christmas day leftovers with my family. Now we are getting ready to play some games. Apples to Apples is first.

I am still full of Christmas Spirit!!

Noel, the days following Christmas are sad. You guys here help though.

Noel, I try to leave my decorations up as long as I can. Usually the weekend after New Years things start to come down. It does takes few days though. I would Iove to keep them up until my birthday in February (day before Valentine's Day).

This Christmas thread is off to a fabulous start! We won't have any problem reaching our goal.

This is a very sad day for me. My dog, that I have had for 13 years, passed away last night. I'm sad but also a little relieved as she was suffering with various ailments and I was going to have to have her put to sleep. This is one reason that Christmas 2011 wasn't the greatest one for me. I'm thankful that we had one final Christmas with her. She got her stocking filled by Santa one last time. She was a wonderful pet and my baby long before I had a real one. I truly believe that when you get to heaven, you are reunited with every pet you have ever loved. This gives me great comfort.

The outside lights will stay on and the inside decorations will stay up until after the New Year. This is a tradition I have had since I've been married. Kinda glad to put Christmas 2011 behind me so that I can start looking forward to 2012.

I dvr'd the new episode of the Simpson's from Christmas night. I love the Simpson's and especially love the Halloween and Christmas shows.
