The heavy rain we were forecast to have all week never really materialized. Showers here and there, sometimes heavy, but nothing sustained. For the most part its been a continuation of the fine Autumn weather we've been enjoying all month. Temps in the low teens celsius daytime, single digit nighttime.

Which reminds me, need to buzz my brother in north Alberta, see what the temps are up there now. Winter comes early when you're only 200 miles from the Arctic circle.

Blustery and cold. There is talk of mixed precipitation today. I have been keeping my eyes open and ready to see a flake should one fall but no luck as of yet.

Oh my word, you better get your woolies out! :P

Its wet and windy here at the moment, though it's supposed to clear up later. Mild too for being near the end of October.

Rainy!!! Blah!Blah!Blah! :razzberry:
It' seems everywhere else in this province (well maybe a slight exaggeration) and even a lot of the country received snow the past few days. 2 1/2 hours north of here snow, a few provinces down east snow, a few to the west snow.
I was looking at many pictures on the weather network site, they looked so pretty. There was even a pic of a little one playing in the snow, and another of a couple of kids with their first snowman of the season. I also found one I think taken in Alberta of a couple of deer in the snow.
Oh, well. I must have patience it will be here soon enough. :smilecc:

No rain this morning. Too warm for snow. By the middle of November we should at least see a flurry or two, I hope.
Merry Sage I am sure your brother must be in a winter wonderland right now. Northern Ontario received 15 cm of snow Thursday-Friday and I know parts of Alberta did as well. If you get the chance check out the weather network pic's, they are so pretty.

If the weather service isn't talking out their hat, this last week of the month is supposed to feel more like the first of September, rather than the end of October. A couple of warm fronts coming from the European mainland (assuming they arrive) will mean temps in the high teens celsius.

So it'll be a warm Halloween! Today was cool and pleasant, temps around 13C.

Overcast and cool here. I think the mini heat wave thats supposed to materialise this week is going to be stopped by the proverbial North/South divide. ie: nothing north of London is going to benefit. Kinda reflects the general state of things in this country.

Sometimes I think the weather people here torment us! We're up to 87 and next week 98F again. In November! It takes away that holiday feeling when you're in shorts!

Well, if it continues to clear off here, it could turn out to be a really fine day. It certainly didn't feel cold in the house first thing this morning and the heating hasn't come on.

We'll see how it goes.

Dry and mild-ish today, though this is supposed to be the end of the warm-for-end-of-October spell we've been having. There's a huge weather front coming in for Sunday with a lot of rain and wind.

Temps today around 13C, dropping down to single digits as we go into the first week of November.
