Christmas Ornament Challenge January 2010

Postby CandyKane » Wed Jan 06, 2010 3:51 pm

Since several members have expressed an interest in this I thought I would go ahead and get us started. Every month we will get the instructions to make a new Christmas ornament. I thought I would start us off with one I have been wanting to make. I saw it on the Martha Stewart Christmas Special and found the instructions on her site.

Bonus kids Angel ornament
I made these angels with my Sunday School class and they were a big hit. I cut the angel and wings out and glued them together then let the kids embellish them with sparkly snowflakes, rhinestones, etc.

I think this ornament challenge will be alot of fun. Post pictures of your ornaments if you can.

I have used this same technique for making ghosts to hang for Halloween. I believe I also got the idea from Martha Stewart. :D

Thank you, I can't wait to get started on this challenge.

I really like the string snowball ornaments. I think I'm going to make it. If I do, I'll be sure to post pics. :flake:
