My daughter wishes we had snow. She doesn't understand why we can't have a white Christmas like on the holiday movies.
Right now we just have lots of rain. We need it so I'm fine with it.

:D I think most of us at sometime wondered why our White Christmas' couldn't be like those in some Christmas movies!

My Christmas' are becoming more simple - like my childhood - and I'm having more joy! :flake:

You can always take a Christmas vacation and go somewhere snowy for Christmas. Better not come to my area though - it's been hit or miss the last 20 years on whether we'll have snow or not. We used to get snow every Christmas when I was little.

Thanks Mrs. C. Im thinking of making a huge change this coming Christmas: giving away our tree & new decorations to someone who doesn't have one. A little more than adopting a family.......starting before Thanksgiving and making sure their holiday season has food, gifts and decorations. :holly1:

My children found a new study series on the Narnia films/books at Amazon.com, so we'll have those to read on the countdown to Christmas journey!

Just realized this morning that I haven't posted the Christmas ornament challenge for March yet. I'll try and get it posted this evening. :smilecc:

My brother went to Mynamar in giving spirit of Christmas all year to teach and help the helpless. When he got there he contracted some kind of Asian flu that is barely keeping him on his feet! He inspires to give despite fatigue & schedules! Now that's the Christmas spirit! :smilecc:

Hi everyone! I am back from my weekend in Napa. We had a blast at my sister's bachelorette celebration. Friday was a spa day followed by a home cooked dinner (we rented condos with full kitchens) and traditional bachelorette games. On Saturday we had a scavenger hunt while wine tasting downtown. Then we went to a fabulous dinner and ended the evening with salsa dancing at a wine tasting room. Sunday we had a wonderful champagne brunch and said our good byes. I can't believe my little sis is getting married.

I wish I had more time to look around at the shops. I wanted to find a Christmas ornament of a wine glass or of grapes. I guess that just means my hubby has to take me again, yipee!
