It's funny how the warming temperatures makes me start thinking about Christmas. I went into the craft store Michaels yesterday and they were starting to put out the patriotic items for Memorial Day/Fourth of July. When I saw that, I remembered the order that these things go in: Patriotic items, then the autmn items, and then Christmas. :gbhouse:

I'm really looking forward to the summer and I can't believe how quickly time is flying. Just think Christmas in July will be here in 3 quick months. The older we get, the faster time flies.

Last night I let dd pick out a dvd to watch and she chose The Garfield Christmas Special. It was so funny how she would jump up and dance to all the music. :smilecc:

I have a co-worker whose cubicle is next to mine and she hums constantly. She was humming the other day and I realized she was humming Jingle Bells! I asked her, "are you humming a Christmas song?" She said, "Well, I guess I am!". She didn't even realize she was doing it. Of course, I didn't mind. :singing:

Snowed at the in-laws on the weekend - nothing on the ground though, just flurries in the air, very Christmassy feeling. Only problem was I didn't bring any socks, just wearing my sandals. Needless to say I didn't go out. :flake:

Good morning everyone, Happy Monday!

I had so much fun at my brother-in-law's 50th birthday party this weekend. It was a 70's theme so my husband and I went for the disco look. He even made his own platform shoes!

Christmas seems to be even closer when you start to consider Christmas in July. I am still going to have a Christmas in July cookie exchange.
