Christmas Watching

Since I have recorded them on the DVR I continue to watch them throughout the year. I just saw "Christmas in Boston" this weekend. This movie is a cute romance comedy that was, I believe, on ABC Family.

Many of my family/friends think I'm slightly nutty, but I watch a Christmas flick every time I'm in the mood. Next to Christmas we see more flicks at Christmas in July! I also listen to Christmas music all year long when I'm in the mood!

Today, despite being Halloween, we're also watching classic Christmas cartoons on dvd!

thats funny...not sure how i missed this last year

but for halloween every year my church does a thing called trunk treats, where the adults decorate the trunks of their car, truck bed, van backs etc with a theme and the kids walk around the parking lot from car to car, instead of going door to door at strangers houses.

this year it rained so we had to take it into our church fellowship area and decorate a table and the kids walked around to each table my Halloween theme was christmas i had all kind of decorations and had white christmas playing on my Laptop in the middle of the table and i gave out candy canes and christmas candy as the treats

I always start watching Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music in mid November.

Mr. St. Nick-Santa's son lives in Miama
Call Me Claus-home shopping
the 'weirder' stuff like Smurf's Christmas and He-Man She-Ra Christmas, etc.

Christmas in August:
Christmas in August (Palwouli Christmas)-Korean movie, great story but not really Christmas
Autumn in New York-fall feeling, nice Christmas scene
White Christmas-ready for cooler temps

November/December:
the first movie of the Christmas season MUST be
Miracle on 34th Street (original version) followed by
It's a Wonderful Life
after that, anything goes. We watch them all the way through January.

We start our Christmas season on the day of Thanksgiving with Miracle on 34th Street too! A great family tradition -- nice to know we share that experience!
