Christmas in July

For those who just can't wait until December.

Most of my invitations are done, but I still need to do the envelopes. I want to post them out now but I will wait until later in June.

I can't believe we are already in June now - that reminds me it my MILs birthday today, the 1st June. I will call her tonight after dinner to wish her a happy birthday.

How exciting Noel, how many do you have coming this year?

I am still in the process of trimming the guest list - it got out of hand again

So I won't be sending them out until next week or so. One month is enough notice though.

:jump: Hubby wanted to stop by a local card shop that is going out of business on the way home from my work today. I had the greatest surprise!!

Christmas items 75% off -- and I bought them for CIJ! I am so excited to have a new theme, new colors, new artwork for this year's celebration!!!

I'm trying to pull all the stops out and really make some progress on Christmas this month. I've managed to buy some more gifts, sort out my gift closet and decorations. Would like to have done some crafts and made some cards but my craft stuff is all over the place ant the moment because we are in the process of remodelling our house. Maybe next year.....

It's the season to be jolly.

Jay - What would you like to do for Christmas in July - would you like to host a party? or just a small get-together or just something for your family?

I don't have a tradition for Christmas in July but I do enjoy watching the CIJ shopping shows on TV. I officially begin getting in the mindset for Christmas. I start buying items to put away and searching the web for deals. I listen to Christmas music all year, but July seems to be when I begin playing it more often. I find that it's even more exciting to look forward to it, when it's a few months away as opposed to right around the corner. Love, love, loooove it.

Yes, I love the QVC Christmas in July shows too. I'm often at work when HSN has their shows, but this year its over a weekend! Yay! So I shop inbetween our other CIJ activities. Good to know I have a fellow shopper to share with! :shop:

Noel, it's great that it's going to be during a weekend. My husband laughs at how much I get into Christmas but I think he secretly thinks it is cute.

Christmas movies all weekend long on the Hallmark Channel. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (July 12, 13, & 14).
I can't find a schedule, but if you look at individual shows on http://www.hallmarkchannel.com, they give dates and times.
Search for Christmas in July on the home page. You'll have to ignore the ones with dates from last year.
