Listening to Christmas music while I do some cleaning, trying to get it done now so I don't have to do it after I get back from our trip. :smilecc:

I went shopping today and picked up a Christmas gift for my best friends little boy. It's a build your own race car kit and the best thing it was on clearance for only $4.00. Woohoo! :smilecc:

I have 2 really good friends that are both expecting babies in November. Since I have already given them a ton of our old baby stuff, I thought I would buy them 'babies first' Christmas ornaments. I can't think of anything more special to give to such dear friends.

The Fall decorations are starting to creep out into the house. I know the Christmas decorations won't be far behind.

I bought 2 Christmas gifts from QVC [on clearance] last night for my Sister [jewelry]. I am so excited because normally I couldn't afford to give her such gifts! :smilecc: :smilecc:

I was in Target today and I noticed TWO Christmas magazines were out. There was a Christmas craft magazine and the other was a Christmas cooking magazine. :D

:D That's great news Stephanie!

Here they still have summer out because our temps are over 100 through Thanksgiving at times. I expect Autumn decorations in the dollar stores by Steptember. I have received a couple of Christmas catalogs - such cute decorations! :D

We have some real trouble makers in our church ( actually just one family) and they insist of causing problems. At first we got our feelings hurt, then we got mad, now we're to the point that nothing is going to stop us from doing what's right and what's good for our church. They are the perfect example of Grinches. While Grinches may get the main spotlight at Christmas time, they exist every day of the year. :|

Lots of stores have Fall items out here, and while out shopping Friday I noticed that one store even had Halloween items at the end of one aisle. I look for the Christmas items to start popping up any time. :smilecc:
