In 1947, Toys for Tots started making the holidays a little happier for children by organizing its first Chistmas toy drive for needy youngsters. :elfgrin:

We're watching A Charlie Brown Christmas on network TV. Reminds me of when I was a kid at Christmas time. :D

I need to sit down and make out my Christmas grocery shopping list. I need to get everything this week and next so I can avoid the grocery store on the week of Christmas. :hohat:

Our newspaper prints the kids Christmas letters to Santa so I got dd's mailed off this morning. I love reading all the letters. :merrysleigh: :toychase:

I was told yesterday that the Christmas angel tree has even more names on it now. How sad. I need to go back and pick out another angel. :angelsnow:

The TVland Merrython starts this Saturday night. I set my dvr to record some of my favorite Christmas episodes. :merrygift:

We don't have a lot of kids in our church right now so we have decided to do a simple nativity program and let the kids dress up. I need to pick out a few Christmas carols for them to sing. :nav1: :sing:

Ya know, its silly but someone called during the special last night and we missed it. The thing is I have it on dvd...........but we prefer to watch it on tv like int he past. Christmas sillies are us! :lol:
