Found this great idea to enhance your Christmas cookie swaps....

Have everyone RSVP with a copy of the recipe of the cookie they will be bringing. If your hosting the swap include a 5x7 recipe sheet in the invitation for them to use. Then photo copy enough of all the recipes to create recipe books for everyone to take home with their cookie collection.

I must admit I stole this idea but it's a great one! :smilecc:

We did at that church, except we printed the recipe inside a Christmas card which we exchanged at the party! :smilecc:

Oh I love the card idea. It would be especially festive for a Christmas in July cookie swap.

Found out from some of the local Hobby Lobby employees that they have their Christmas decor and are getting ready to put it out. Can't wait,,,,,,,I know where I will be spending my lunch time at for the rest of the year. :smilecc:

After looking at the hotel I am now trying to talk the wife into going there for our 10 year anniversary. I love the Christmas tree in rooms. :smilecc:

I went shopping today. I had some really good coupons for Arm and Hammer spinbrushes. The kind for kids. They have cute stickers to decorate them. I bought one for dd and one for our Operation Christmas Child box at church. :smilecc:

My secret sister at church bought me a beautiful Scentsy warmer and fragrance bar. I love this stuff. I have always resisted buying it for myself because it's just so expensive. It really felt like Christmas for me when I opened it!

We went to Hobby Lobby this weekend and they have some Christmas items out now! We were happy to see that they had a few ornaments out, Christmas ribbon, and tinsel. We'll be going back on our next weekend off and I'm guessing they'll be further along. :scene:

That sounds awesome! I love it when the stores start putting the decor out, it's really nice to start browsing and see the different kinds. Have fun! :santa:
