I hope there are some more movies as well, I am already planning a weekend in July to be Christmas in July in my home, complete with Christmas meal and movies.

Good for you! We always celebrate July 24-25 [a weekend this year]. We decorate a little, play Christmas music, turn the A/C [its 113 here], exchange 1 small gift, and share Christmas memories. Then we make popcorn balls and watch Christmas movies!

I also checked the QVC website and they're going to be doing their Christmas in July on the weekend of July 23-24. I always watch but never order...I just like seeing the Christmas items and hearing a little Christmas music.

For my part it is the original Miracle on 34th Street with Edmund Qwen, Natalie Woods, and Maureen Ohara. Dan Daily is a cutie too!
I watch QVC's Christmas in July celebration every year.........take a day off from work if approved [not this year]. It's fun........and I have ordered some items that turned out to be great decorations.
Its 115F here but feeling more like Christmas in July every day!

[color=#008000]As original Santas go I wholeheartedly agree. I do think Tim Allen is a great Santa in modern-day Christmas movies.

In my opinion, Edmund Gwenn is the best actor to ever put on the Santa suit on film. He is so charming and witty, he really makes me believe in everything he says and does.
