Also, just did the math and we need "roughly" 8 post a day to hit 1700 by Christmas, there should be no problems hitting that mark.

So glad it's finally August. Fall is coming up, which means an end to all of this unbearable heat. I'm starting to get ready for Halloween (my second favorite holiday behind Christmas). In my opinion Halloween starts off the holiday season, but that's up for debate :cheer: :leafjump: :pumpkin:

First, you need a free server to upload all of your pictures. Then you just click the link and paste it in the IMG button.

For Christmas pictures, I suggest photobucket.

www.live365.com has Christmas channels too. I used that at the university. Of course the danger is they also show the CD the songs come from and a link to "buy". Very dangerous.

I also use an mp3 that is loaded with Christmas music year round. I have another that is changed out periodically.

One of my treats are desktop themes/wallpapers. They come with Christmas music loaded into the program. Just a little Christmas every day to start/end my day off right!

Well, one of my QVC orders arrived yesterday -- what a mess! UPS left it on the front porch, in full sun when the temperature was 112F! Uh, candles melt! It was a Slatkin order - superbargain - and it all melted in the box. All the glass embossed Christmas holders broke from the heat.

I did a gift for Christmas in July yesterday. QVC refunded my money and just told me to throw it all out safely. There are no re-orders -- so I'll take the refund. :D

My children are all excited about the Christmas releases for the new Arthur, Muppets, and Tintin movies this year! I haven't seen any previews -- have any of you? What did you think? 8-)

Wow, that's awful. At least you got your money back, but I'm sure those candles were lovely. I hope UPS doesn't hang my stocking this year, because God knows they won't do it with care

Spent all day listening to my Christmas with the Rat Pack CD, it made my day go by so fast and so relaxing that I didn't mind going to Wal-Mart during the peak hours for back to school shopping.

Having no kids, I avoided Walmart and any other place that sold school supplies like the plague in august. Glad you had your Christmas music to put you in the shopping mood. :shop:

One of the few places we can go browse Christmas decorations is Ikea. I am looking forward to it.

Yes, and only Christmas music can soothe the shopping soul at Walmart's back to school event! Good for you!

Hottest day ever for us yesterday! High temp of 111 degrees F. Factor in the humidity and we had a heat index of way up in the 120's. Unbelievable! Headed for another scorching day of record heat. Hard to think about Christmas when it's this hot! :|

Noel-I am really sorry that your Christmas candles were ruined. Some people can be so careless. And I know you were very proud of your great Christmas bargains. At least you got a refund without any hassle. :scene:

Just got the Current Halloween catalog. It's loaded with lots of Christmas items too. They have such pretty Christmas cards and wrapping paper. :carolbells:

Forgot to mention that I also got the Leanin' Tree Holiday Cards and Gifts catalog. No free Christmas card in it this year  but still lots of great cards. :smilecc:
