I'm so jealous! I wish my hubby was even HALF the Christmas fan that I am. I'm lucky if I can get him to watch a Christmas movie Christmas WEEK, let alone 4 months before then! lol

I have terrible (read: AWESOME) Christmas Fever already! I am excited that we are having my daughter's birthday party next weekend (today she is 9!!), because that means we HAVE to get the house sparkling clean, and that means that I can get started on my Christmas cleaning SUPER early!!! :smilecc:

Still waiting on my Lakeside Christmas 2011 catalog to arrive....it's just not the same looking at the stuff on their website. I can't "dog-ear" pages there so easily... lol

And if previous years hold any clues, I will start seeing some Christmas stuff at Costco soon!!! I'm SO excited!! (My) Christmas Season is here!!! Happy Super Long Christmas season everyone!

(I just said Christmas like a MILLION times in this post...does that make it count for multiple posts?? lol j/k)

For those of you doing some early online Christmas shopping :shop: sign up and shop through Ebates. I've been using it for awhile now and I've gotten a nice amount of cash back. :smilecc:

Also, if you 'like' Pizza Hut on facebook this week you can get a great deal. If you order online you can get the any pizza for $10 deal plus a free P'zone. I'm gonna use it for family night. Just consider it a very early Christmas gift. :D

Today I ordered myself a Christmas gift: a ring set on QVC. I love enamal and bling and these 3 rings are stackables. Just perfect for me -- and it lifted my spirits. It's the first time in years I've spent any of the money I earned on myself and it feels oddly like Christmas to me! :scene:

I think our neighbours down the road must really like autumn. They have attached a small scarecrow to their 911#. I had a good chuckle and the kids thought it was great. I figure I start Christmas decorating in the beginning of November. So why can't they do fall decorating in August.

:peekleaves2: Due to the heat where I live, I decorate for Autumn at the end of this month [before Labor Day]. The temperature is still 115F but inside it looks like a Fall Indiana evening!

Todays mail brought a reminder that it's time to order the 2011 Joys of Christmas book from Guideposts. I love this book so much and always look forward to it. Unless I'm mistaken the cost is $1 more this year but it's worth it for me.

Absolutely beautiful day here. With all the rain that we have gotten and the much cooler temps it feels way more like September than August here. And I love September! Christmas will be here before we know it.

That's one of the joys of Operation Christmas Child.........you can shop, box, and send it on to Samaritan's Purse all year long. I love this mission! :scene:

Really in a Chrismtas mood today, the weather is helping that out a lot. Raining and currently 68 degrees. Will probably watch a little tv and then a Christmas movie tonight. :smilecc:

That sounds like a great combo ksrjreed! :smilecc: I think I may buy some hot chocolate this week. We are going to our trailer for a week starting next weekend. Maybe I could pack a couple of Christmas movies and have a Christmas movie night there. Just have to talk my Hubby into it.
