Well my DDs think having a Christmas movie night when we go to the trailer is an awesome idea! :D
DH and DS agreed as long as we also have a Star Wars movie night.

I was able to pick up the Sears Christmas Wish Books today. 5 days earlier then I thought. I even ordered something already. Although it is on standby until Saturday when official ordering begins. I couldn't resist. It is a 2 foot high, musical, Charlie Brown Christmas tree. :treewiggle:

To me, the Sears wish book is just one more signal that Christmas is just a few months away!!

I know alot of people who watch Star Wars around christmas time, not sure why except maybe they appeal to a wide range of ages.

I am back after having some computer and internet problems and am happy to report that Anders got the part time IT job! He started yesterday. It is not the answer to all our problems, but it always feels better to be doing something than nothing. We are now praying for another 50% job to go with it and/or a job for me! I missed my Christmas friends this weekend.

I watched the NOrthern Exposure Christmas epsidode, "Seoul Mates" while he was at his interview.

Congratulations to your DH on his new job! Prayers for both of you to find more employment! Maybe a Christmas/seasonal job will come your way and turn into a permanent position for you! Positive thoughts sent your way!

A lot going on around here today, I have a job interview this afternoon and then later today then it is open house time at my children's schools. Tomorrow will be first day of school so I will do my traditional playing of Andy Williams "It's the Greatest Time of the Year" on the surround sound to wake the kids up tomrrow. At least tomorrow feels like Christmas to my wife and myself. :smilecc:

Ksrjreed--Good luck on the job interview. Really hope things work out for you.
JWlundgren--So thankful that your hubby found employment. Wishing all the best for you.

We took dd to her preschool open house last night. She is so excited. She'll only be going part time. Just enough to give Mommy a break and get her closer to being ready for kindergarten. I can't wait to see all the neat holiday crafts she'll be making, especially the Christmas ones. :smilecc:

Good Luck ksrjreed!! I hope the interview went well and you get the job!

It was a little bit like Christmas tonight! Our son's soccer team won a game!! They haven't won a game all season and this was their third last game. The kids and parents were thrilled and jumping for joy. Our son's team works hard, has fun and plays clean. So it was so nice to see them win one.

Listening to the birds this morning. Hearing a flock of Canada geese as they fly over. Too early for them to be heading south yet, but since it is cool this morning it reminds me of Fall. :rake:
The children go back to school in just under 3 weeks, after everything is bought for school, it will be time to really start Christmas shopping. :smilecc:

Hubby has another interview this Friday for a fulltime job! We have mixed feelings as it is a two hour commute each way, but we might eventually move there if he gets it!
Praying for God´s direction. He really likes the part time job and hopes it could turn into full time. When it rains it pours! Asking for prayers from all my Christmas friends!

I took dd for her first day of preschool. She was so excited when she got there. Other kids were crying but not my baby. When it was time for me to go she turned around and said Bye Mommy I'll see you later. I know that she's having a great time with all those kids. I've actually been using my free time wisely. I've been going through her room and packing away some toys that she doesn't play with. Also going through her closet making room for the Fall and Winter clothes. And all the new stuff she'll get for Christmas! :smilecc:
