Sounds like a GREAT time! I have been tempted to rent a camp site at a local camp ground (within walking distance) just so hubby can have the quintessential "american" camping experience of smores (no graham crackers here, so I need to find a substitute) and roasted marshmallows. A great ending to your Christmas fun!

sounds like great fun! I would love that. Here restored VW vans are making a comeback, the first ones used as campers. It is hilarious to see them on the road though we wonder where on earth people are finding them. Sounds like great Christmas fun! Just out of curiosity, what is considered "seasonal"?
Mrs.Claus wrote:Well I think we've got the kids all their back to school items, including clothes. I'm pretty sure my oldest will need some more pants, but she really wanted to have 3 pairs of shoes (one specifically for gym class - which we bought, the others as normal wear). This year hubby and I decided to increase their allowance and let them choose how to spend it (with in reason). There are certain things we'll still buy for them, like socks, underwear, gym shoes, school supplies. We'll see how it goes and let you know. I'm hoping they might consider buying their Christmas presents out of it, but we haven't talked about it, so it might not happen till next Christmas.
When do the kids go back to school for you guys? Up north here we're always the first Tuesday after Labour Day, so this year it's September 6th.

She loves Christmas all year just like her daddy.

Jim Carrey is great as The Grinch!
Kitchen Rennovation mostly done. Computer up and running. Anders even gave me a "Christmas countdown" on the desk top. He said he can also install a random pop up that is a dancing Christmas tree. He is cute.
Now, if the cats would just stop fighting, my day would be Christmas perfect!

What fun! We had some VHS episodes taped from TV Land but the tape broke from overuseage! This year I hope they do the Merry-Go-Christmas weekend again!
