Nope, turkey is pretty rare in Sweden which is why we have had chicken for the last 4 years. My american cousin also serves chicken in Belgium for her husband and friends. But Anders has the fantasy of a whole basted turkey in the oven. Maybe.....when I first got here turkeys showed up around christmas but they were scrawny looking. At least these look like they have a decent amount of meat. Rotissiere chicken is actually as cheap as a whole uncooked chicken so I was thinking of getting a couple of turkey breast filets (expensive, but more affordable than a whole turkey) and then getting a rotissiere chicken for the light /dark meat and using that for my post holiday casseroles and salads. Best of all, I can have proper "leftover sandwiches" now that I found stove top stuffing at the english store. Have to make a trip over there soon.
For Christmas, Swedes eat ham, thanksgiving is goose, and Easter is chicken. Anders said if we get enough land for the B/B we can raise turkeys, but I am not sure I could kill them.
Cleaned the house.
Went shopping with my wife, then picked up the kids and went out to dinner.
Then we all went to Hobby Lobby and walk thru the Christmas isles.
