Got an early christmas present today in the form of a job! I will be working as a fulltime temp at the university from Monday until Feb. 29. 2012. It is working with international students so I will get some great experience to add to my resumé. On the downside, not sure if I wil have any days off for Christmas since it falls on a weekend. I would love to work Jan-sept, and then have oct-dec off each year. Now THAT would be nice!

I cashed out enough points from one of my survey sites to get an Amazon gift card. I used it to buy a game cartridge that dd is asking HoHo to bring her for Christmas. :rabstar:

I saw a Christmas commercial for Reynolds Wrap last night. :gbhouse:

The Hallmark Channel has been advertising they will be starting their Countdown to Christmas on November 4th. They will be playing Christmas movies that weekend. I will definitely be watching!

Yes, I just saw the Hallmark Channel add this morning. I'm delighted they're starting early..........and often. I hope to see more Christmas movies that way as my schedule fluctuates daily/weekly!

The other day I was in Michael's and all their Christmas decorations are out and Autumn items are on clearance.

The dollar store, grocery stores, and department stores are all getting out Christmas items early! YAY! :smilecc:

Great buy CK!

I plugged in my scentports today with cinnamon/nutmeg delight and pumpkin/nutmeg and the house spells like Autumn! Just matches my decorations perfect. :peekleaves2:

Trying to decide if I have time to put up the Christmas tree this year. Last year I did not so just decorated the house. I miss a tree!

I was coming here to post this very thing. 8-) I too saw the preview for this Christmas movie yesterday. We will definitely be seeing this one on Thanksgiving. We always go to the movies after our dinner and I think this will be our choice this year. :singing:

Off to hockey for the second time today. This morning it was power skating. DD 9 has a practice at 4 and DS practices at 5. will begin the first week of November. It's still much colder in the arena than outside though. Time is really going to speed up once their games start. Which is a good thing, I can't wait for Christmas this year! :smilecc:

Only 3 weeks left until our Operation Christmas Child packing party at church. I am so excited about it. I have organized this event all year and I can't wait to see it all come together. :rabstar:

Put the sailboat away for the winter. It was a rough summer on the lake for her...between the flooding, the rain, and the Hurricaine.m glad she made it out in one piece.
