Went for a nice hike today to enjoy the foliage and views of Lake Champlain. I love this time of Year. I can't wait for Christmas though.

I am starting a website that shows my spirit and love for Christmas. Any suggestions on content? :P

I found the best little Yanee Cadle car air fresheners. My car now smells like a Christmas tree already! All that's missing is the music. Sounds like I need to put my Christmas music back on my iPhone!

Does anyone have any cool pictures of the Christmas village scenes that they put up in their house?

kiwi I haven't put out my village in quite a few years. I may set up a few pieces this year,if I get the time. Do you have pictures? My family room Christmas tree will be going up the first or second week of November.

my church always does a fall party on halloween with trunk treats in our parking lot.

2 years ago it rained on halloween so we had it in the basement and set up tables instead of our trunks i did a christmas theme i might do that again this year.

Kiwi--It's good to see you again! :ornwave:

I so love this time of year. This is when our old Christmas friends stop in to catch up and our new Christmas friends find us for the first time. :smilecc:

Have found that I really like Wal Mart site to store shipping option. Guess I will be doing the rest of my shopping that way this year. No more dealing with mobs at stores, it is going to be a great Christmas. :smilecc:

Christmas Crazy- 30 presents!! I am impressed. I think I have about 4 things wrapped. I will be hitting Amazon hard in the next few weeks. It would be nice to be done by the weekend after Thankgiving. :peekleaves2:

CandyKane, it is great to connect with everyone again. It seems like only a few months ago that we all were together celebrating the Christmas season :holly1: :smilecc:

Very rainy day here. I slept so good last night listening to the sounds of rain and thunder. :sleephat: We have a Fall Festival to go to tonight, then dd has a Fall party at her school tomorrow. We have a Halloween party Saturday then trick or treating Monday. Such a busy time but I love every minute of it. Hoping things slow down so I can enjoy the build up to Christmas. :smilecc:

If you have a Bass Pro Shop near you then be sure and check this out. It has become a Christmas tradition with my family. http://news.yahoo.com/magic-returns-san ... 16976.html :santa: :rudolph1:

I've been trying to decide if I want to have dd's Christmas portraits done professionally or if I just want to take some candid shots and have them printed myself. I could make a collage or something and see how it turns out. I've had them made professionally every year so this might be a nice change. So hard to decide. :holly1:

Feeling especially Christmasy .
I am so pleased with toysr us ! Not only did they have an awesome sale on the 2 items my DS asked for Christmas. But today was the last day of the sale and they still had them in stock. This was my day off and I took the chance and drove the 45 minutes in the hopes they would have some left. Even with money spent on gas I still saved $46. This allowed me to order 3 gifts for the girls from the Wish Book today instead of having to wait another 2 weeks. :shop: :smilecc:

Very cool! I wish there was one nearby. My husband has been dying to go to the one closest to us. Unfortunately it is over 2 hours away. Maybe one Christmas we can take a drive there. :scene:
