We had a thunderstorm last night with lots of lightning and rain but thankfully no severe stuff here. Just lots and lots of flooding south of us. It's been so foggy all day. I have been doing some online shopping. I just bought dd a silly hair lalaloopsy doll and I also got her the mini Christmas doll, Holly Sleighbells. She's gonna love them. :santagifts:

My dd is gonna be very, very happy this Christmas! :D A gift that she has been begging for was just delivered. I can't wait to see her little face when she opens it. :angelmerry:

Here is another sample of Christmas pennants. Funny that they chose scandinavian designs.

:peekleaves2: Hope you're all ready for the big Thanksgiving celebration here in America! We have a respiratory virus so my sister is fixing the meal and her hubby is a chef! Just one day without being a diabetic to indulge would be wish for the day!

Christmas sales begin tomorrow..........so glad I've finished shopping. Well.........there are always last minute Secret Santa gifts. Still, when I'm feeling better I can't wait to start decorating.

Since we're fighting termites, no tree for us this year. Even artificial trees touch the ceiling!

So sorry about all the trouble! Our artificial tree is only 4 ft high but perfect for a small swedish apartment. However, I have not cleaned up the living room (my boxes from the US are still there for lack of any other spot to put them), so I am unsure we will even put it up. then again, we could put it on top of a box and make it taller! :treeclap:

First accumulating snow of the season! Glad I don't have to worry about the commute to work tomorrow morning. Everyone traveling in the northeast, please be careful. :flake:

I saw "The Christmas Blesssing" movie playing on Lifetime this evening. It makes me want to read and watch all of the books and movies from "The Christmas Shoes" series again. :snowwow: :scene:

First blast of winter here as well. Freezing rain last night then snow. It looks like a beautiful Christmas card. Waiting on a call from my hubby that he made it safely to work.

Noel--Hoping you and your family feel better soon. Being sick at the holidays is such a drag. And I'm really sorry you can't put up your Christmas tree. Hoping things start looking up for you soon. :rabstar:

my tree is going up on thanksgiving night!!! also putting up my parents' tree so i'm going to have double the fun./ spending the holidays(thanksgiving and christmas)with just my parents this year./it's going to be awesome.have bought 6 christmas gifts thus far and some tree decorations.getting into the swing of christmas feels soooo great!!wish we had snow here though.but it's only a matter of time.it's getting so it snows here in the DFW area about two or three times annually now./also downloaded a toolbar for my browser that has internet radio stations that play 24/7 christmas music./and dish network has 2 holiday music channels--traditional christmas and pop christmas ..i prefer the traditional. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
>>>>>>> i found it in the last place that i looked,as they say.
what's weird is that i found it in the next place i looked also.
so now i have two of them and i only need one!!
