Well, Monday of Christmas week, to quote Willy Wonka, "There is so much time and so little to do, wait, reverse that". Hope everyone has a great Monday and has the spirit of Christmas running through them as it is running through me.

Have a busy day planned, going to help the wife on the official cleaning of the house before Chrismtas, then we have a Cub/Boy Scout Chrismtas party for our sons. Hope to be able to stop and breathe for just a moment at some point today. Anyway, here is to a great day and an exciting week. Nothing like the week leading up to Christmas. :smilecc:

I hear ya! :flake:
It was 7 years ago when we had our last green Christmas. Everyone here is used to snow on the ground. My son said "It just doesn't seem right Mom, I don't like it being this close to Christmas and no snow on the ground yet." I am in total agreement! I am hoping I can wake my kiddies up one morning really soon with a wonderful surprise of snow.

Merry Almost Christmas! :smilecc:

Our Christmas program at church last night was awesome. I couldn't be happier with the way it all worked out. :D Afterwards we had a Happy Birthday Jesus party complete with cake and party favors. Then we had a Dirty Santa gift exchange. Hubby and I got the 2 best gifts---a warm snuggly blanket with a beautiful winter scene and some recordable picture frames. :carolbells:

We went to a Christmas party tonight. It was alot of fun. The kids made ornaments by gluing a ball ornament to the top of an ice cream cone. It was embellished with paint to look like topping poured over and candy sprinkles over the paint. They are really beautiful and it's one idea I never would have thougt of. :angelmerry:

On the way home from dd's school we stopped by the library and they were giving all the kids a free Christmas book. Yay! :treehat:

Dirty Santa gift exchange? Is that like a white elephant party?

Work is very hectic but I am trying to keep the Christmas spirit. One more day and then we are off for the holidays. It will be tough to relax knowing what I am coming back to, but I will try. I will have to do some work at home but luckily the swedish tomte came early and brought me a nice new computer. Tonight we have a delicious Lebanese Christmas buffet to look forward to. It is hubby´s last day at one of his part time jobs so he is looking forward to a relaxing evening as well. Praying the New Year brings good things and more jobs, not just for us, but for all in need. :snowkiss: :snowhouse: :treewiggle:

:holly1: Last day of school for my youngest is today and they are having their Christmas party. The weather people here are saying that we might have a chance of snow on the ground by Christmas, hard to believe when it is going to be close to 60 F tomorrow. :smilecc:

:holly1: Thinking of sitting this evening and playing some Canasta while the kids watch Chrismtas specials on TV tonight. The wait is really getting to my younger daughter, she just can't take it anymore accoriding to her and she just needs Christmas to get here so she can have her presents and her Christmas dinner. :smilecc:
