We opened our presents today. Now we're packing to head to Indiana tomorrow.

We went to dd's Christmas party at her school this morning. Hubby played Santa for the kids and he did such a great job. They were all so happy!

We have Christmas dinner and a gift exchange with our friends tonight. I'm getting pretty tired from being so busy, but I'm loving every minute of it.

Last night, very late, a sweet widowed neighbor brought over a special plate of Christmas goodies just for me! How surprised and delighted I was and the family has their own platter! What a JOY she is to all! Just had to share what sweet Jo did for Christmas!

I was building a lamp today with my father out of an old whiskey bottle. It is going to be a Present for a good friend of mine. I can't wait to see it when I finish it tomorrow.

Classic: kids do not think Christmas comes soon enough and adults need more time to prepare. I am thinking of starting christmas prep in November especially if I have a job next year. Then you can actually enjoy december without being stressed.

Thanks. I am torn between wanting to be home to enjoy the Christmas holidays and needing to be at work. As a temporary employee I am trying to stay in control of the workload to make a good impression in order to keep a job.

I'm having a real hard time feeling Christmasy this year. I know that the weather is alot of it. Temps are too warm and all we get is rain every few days. We have no chance of a White Christmas this year.
