I need to do a little shopping today to get the final pieces for the lamp I am making for my friend. I also need to pick up some picture frames for my aunts' presents. I really started getting into photography more this year.

Maybe, since I have been good (for the most part), Santa will bring me a bag for my camera and its accessories. :santa:

Even though it's almost 50 degrees here today, we are supposed to get a few inches of snow Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I am saying a little prayer. :snowwow:

The local weatherman here just broke the sad news to us that unless there is a miracle then all we are going to have is a wet Christmas.

This evening one of my Christmas village pieces was knocked off of the fireplace mantle and broke. It was a nice piece, which made me sad. I am going to a store called. "The Christmas Loft" tomorrow to look at new pieces. I had wanted to expand my collection anyways... Just too bad it had to be this way. :gbhouse:

My brother made a Santa video for me. It was very cute...although Santa did call me old in it. 33 isn't old is it??? Don't worry Santa, I still believe.

My father is the youngest of 13 brothers and sisters (that must have been quite the family meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas). I was printing out, framing, and wrapping pictures that I am giving some of his sisters for Christmas. An yes, embracing my French-Canadien roots!!

Tomorrow morning I am getting some blood work done for my yearly physical. Hoping everything turns out ok. Unfortunately, my injured knee had not allowed for as much exercise as I would have liked. Oh well, I won't let it affect my dancing to "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree" this weekend!! :santadance:

hm....and I thought I made it up!

Today is "little christmas eve", Lilla julafton where Swedes across the land will put up their christmas trees. The old tradition was to dance around the tree, but nowdays most people do not have that much room. I have only seen that at folk markets and festivals. We will go finish up the grocery shopping, make a few dishes that taste better when they have "sat" for awhile in the fridge and make Christmas meatballs (a tradition we are trying). Gonna be a fun day!

O julengran, o julengran........(O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree........)

I keep trying to find the movie The National Tree at an online source, no luck yet, maybe after the holidays! Until then, November Christmas has arrivedf! :treewiggle: :merrytree: :treeswave:
