Yes and no........how is that for an answer! LOL!

When we were in California, with all my collected Christmas deorations, yes I created different color schemes and themes yearly.

Since starting over -- Ive chosen color schemes instead, It may take a decade to acquire enough decorations again to change themes every year! But it definitely is a dream of mine!!

The last couple of years our dining room tree has had a snowy theme - lots of white, silver ornaments and white snowball lights.

Our main tree in the lounge room is quite eclectic - anything goes but it seems to follow the traditional colours of red, gold, silver, green with a few others thrown in for good measure.

I have a couple of table top trees that just get whatever is left over from the big trees, but they always turn out nice.

Image I made a "beanie" tree once with a few stuffed Disney characters too, but I had to add some other kiddie ornaments from my old family tree.

Usually, I have so many favourite ones that I feel I have to include that I can't really stick to a theme. I really like the look of them when I see them though.

I am so glad I am not the only one who has more than one tree - my friends all think I am nuts because I have a few.

:scene: If I had the space and O'Malley didn't object, I'd have at least one more tree to decorate then I'd be more likely to do a theme tree and a hodge-podge tree. I think of my Christmas tree as a bit of a "time capsule" with decorations I've inherited, been given as gifts or picked up for myself. To look at my tree, you wouldn't notice it at first, but for the trained eye - there's plenty of history there with a bit of the new too.

I'm doing my best to get a Country Christmas look going, but its an uphill struggle. But the thing I like best is lights. Lots and lots of 'em! :P

I love lights too - you can never have to many. I have them strung up down the hall and around the kitchen and dining rooms.

OH put the stop on me putting them all over the bed - maybe this year :D

I´m very happy that I´m not alone with several trees... :smilecc:
This year we´ll have 3... one in the living room.. one in the hall and one tiny artificial .. I d´nt know where to put...
I love historic ornaments and snowmen..
I think the maintree will be snow-themed this year... the kitchen full of gingerbread-ornaments.. and the hall with vintage ornaments.. :carolbells:

My tree is not themed. It's an ecclectic mix of ornaments. When I move to a bigger place, I'd like to have another tree and I'd like for that one to be themed.

We have a spare room now that number one son has moved out and I wanted to make it a Christmas room but the men of the house (and I am outnumbered two to one here) have decided that they want it as an Xbox room.

Oh well, when number two son grows up and moves out, I can have a Christmas room then.

Jodie, do you mean a Christmas room as in storage of Christmas decorations OR a room you leave decorated all year long? I'll take one of each please! :throw:
