Just the front porch - so guests have a Christmasy greeting. When its over 115F outside the decorations made of plastic actually melt in direct sunlight! :snowwow:

Good point. We only do paper decorations in summer and maybe the cloth pennants if we get them made. I bought scrap material but need a few more things to get started. Might be my post christmas project if I do not get another job when this one ends in February. :scene:

All the Christmas decorations are safely packed away. All that's left is to carry everything down to the basement. :gbhouse:

Just got a call in for work, so my Christmas decorations will be up for another week. [scheduled all week]. I've got to take down the outside ones when I get home. :D

Leave the outside ones up and tell people you are observing swedish tradition. I also read last year that in the middle ages, the christmas greenery was left up until Candlemass, February 2, so you are still good.

Just finished watching Snowmaggedon. It was not as terrible as the reviews suggested. Christmas disaster movies are hard to find!

Most of the Christmas decorations are down...except for the lights on
the Christmas tree. That will stay up another day along with the village on the fireplace. A bunch of boxes now sit in the living room. Sad but excited about the year and planning for next Christmas. :gbhouse:

I am kind of bummed that I didn't make a gingerbread house this Christmas. That just means I will have to build a gingerbread mansion this coming Christmas.
