The excitement (at least for me as a New England fan and native) this weekend is somewhat like my excitement at Christmas time. Giddy! :P

Yes, I was wondering the site would be 'black' today with the SuperBowl pre/post/game taking up most the day. Hope your team wins! Cheer like Christmas! :smilecc:

I'm not really into football, so it's just another day for me. I'll probably be listening to the Christmas song of the month, Silver Bells, while my family is watching the Super Bowl.

It was a very close football game. Unfortunately, my team didnt come out on top. But, both teams played well. Entertaining game! A little disappointed, but nothing' a l title Christmas music can't take care of.

Yes. Like Christmas Day, I overate and fell asleep when New England was well ahead. I awoke to cheers for the Giants from family/friends in the 4th quarter to see my team losing.

The half-time was a total disappointment. But loved the Coke polar bear commercials! :smilecc:

Noele, I love your computer art. It warms my Christmas soul!

We priced a trip to Tomteland for Christmas in July. I asked hubby if he wanted to take the Christmas in July decoration bag and he said we would make a travel version. He is too cute! The best Christmas gift I ever got! :shop: :snowkiss:

It is where Santa lives when he is not delivering Christmas presents. We applied for jobs there last year as park managers, but no luck.

For something slightly closer to home, check out Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana. I have a distant cousin by marriage who lives there. It is on my bucket list! :santadance:

I went to visit Stratford upon Avon last year where Sheakspeare was from . Across from the house where he lived was an all year round christmas shop . All the buildings there are in the tudor style so the shop was really olde worldly . I would happily have worked there !Bought an old fashioned english post box with snow on it for my tree . All my decs bring back memories of when and where i bought them . Mum brought me a christmas tram car from San Francisco . My dream is to go christmas shopping in New York ,well i do need more tree decorations !! Must go computer keeps crashing as a very bad storm her Night all God bless you whereever you are .
