Christmas decorations

Postby tinseltown » Sun Mar 04, 2012 2:33 pm

Took decorating my house to a new level this year by even decorating the bathroom  I watch out for christmas toiletries on sale ie bubble bath body lotions etc , anything with a nice red or green packaging . I then display them in a nice bowl with tinsel in it and the christmas bottles then displayed inside . I had a Santa with hanging legs on the corner shelf and a christmas candle lit by the bath , whenever i had visitors . I was surprised how many people commented on how nice it looked in there . Also found some lovely Santa dispensible soap bottles which were really cheap and you can refill to complete the look ! Happy Holidays :smilecc:

I finished packing up the last of Christmas in the house. I always finds atleast 10 missed items each year. Did Spring cleaning in the front of the house and will start decorating when I have a day off. Whew - work 6 days this week!

Its such a good feeling though isn't whenever everything is cleaned and in order . I work very long hours in summer so i love it when in November i do another big clean and can then start to decorate for christmas :smilecc: Try and relax now , you deserve it x

Yes, its great to be organized. I'm thrilled all of my Christmas decorations are now in big plastic bins [not boxes, etc].

I relaxed yesterday and will need to put out a few Easter/Spring items now.

I love Christmas decorations. My husband and I are still newlyweds and are growing our decorations every year. :D

Right after Christmas, my wife and I bought this 4 foot wreath at Hobby Lobby for $18. Originally was around $100. My wife and her mom decorated it last month. Right now it hangs in the attic. But it will hang in the living room this coming Christmas season. Can't wait.

We put it in the living room above the entrance to the foyer.
I'll post a pic next week.

The decorations on my porch (lighted garland and kissing balls) look so pretty as the snow falls on them right now.

Noel, I tried to attach a pic, but it said the file was too large. I will try to make it smaller
