Ja, det är jättefin!

My husband says to me, "We have Santa, the Easter bunny, and now The Great Pumpkin and the Easter Beagle, but who brings the presents for Christmas in July?" I said Santa is on vacation that is the whole point. So, he says we must come up with something. Any ideas? :shop:

I told him it was the Swedish Midsummer Troll, it is what popped into my head first. No, there is no such thing. Well, we have midsummer, and families that do not see each other at christmas often exchange gifts, but it is not required, so it is sort of like Christmas in June. :scene:

Those 80 plus degree days really spoiled me because it's 60 degrees today and I am freezing. :snowhappy2: Oh well, it's helped to put me in a Christmas mood. :carolbells:

Noel---Your kitty cat siggy is too cute. I love cats. Right now I have 2. My Mom called me last night to tell me that her barn cat had 6 baby kittens. I took dd to see them after school. These are the first newborn kittens she's ever seen and she loved them so much. I'm sure we'll be bringing at least one home with us in a few months. Guess I'll be buying a new pet Christmas stocking this year. :smilecc:

Thanks, tinseltown and CK for the compliments on my siggy. I'm working on a puppy one for summer! Pets make me smile........just like Christmas!

I have 2 cats: a white Persian named Snowbell and a black-and-white mixed called MJ! They rule the home and allow us and the dogs some room!

Grattis!

Hubby had an interview today for a job he did not apply for. A telecommunications company here in Stockholm called him. They had his resum'e from another job he had applied for with them. They are only interviewing 2 and will make a decision shortly. It is a fulltime permanent job in the IT/training field. Praying for some Christmas Magic!

What a sad ending to such an amazing talent. I adore Thomas Kinkade's artwork and I have several pieces. His Winter scenes always make me think of Christmas. :rabstar:
