I have decided that I only want 2 seasons. Christmas season and trailer season. Christmas season would run from October through March and trailer season April through September. Of course the month of July would be a combo of both. A girl can dream, right!?

Ugh. Another week of 80F, full sun no clouds temps! My yard is covered in weeds again. Only 1 month December did I get to skip spraying for weeds & bugs. When people say they want to move to the 'sunbelt' to avoid the snow & bugs in Spring..........theyre in for a real surprise when its 118F and bugs everywhere! 8-)

It has been an unusual winter here in Vermont. With the exception of a few days leading up to Christmas, there really hasn't been any snow to speak of.

It's been hot here - 80F plus. In January? Even for the southwest that is ridiculous! Praying for rain!

To get people looking ahead, espically all of us in the midwest, I read a winter prediction on accuweather.com the other day that says we are going to have the coldest winter since the late 70's. Now, I was around for those winters but was in diapers so my memory doesn't actually help me with this, does anyone else remember the winters of 76-77, 77-78, and 78-79? :smilecc:

I don't remember the cold, but I do remember that blizzard of 78. I was 12 and my brother 10. We had a lot of fun.

We finally got some rain.....over 3 inches! It didn't break the drought but it went a long way towards improving it. Cool nights of temps down in the 60's, and 80 degree days make this perfect weather for me. :smilecc:
