I just saw a commercial for Air Wick Fall scents. Had to do something with the smell of National Parks.

It 'feels' like Fall by the calendar, as I grew up in the midwest. But it is over 114F here so I wait to decorate til September [labor day weekend]. Then it feels as if Christmas is just around the corner! :peekleaves2:

Noel, on which web site do you store your Christmas signature GIFs?

I bought a package years ago at Ranchoweb when it first opened. Now I've earned 'free' status but newbies have to pay a fee. Friends use alot of different services such as yahoo, photobucket and others.

My Christmas file is HUGE and I need to edit it again soon! :smilecc:

Well, I'm having trouble sleeping, so I thought why not check out CAY. Hoping to dream about Christmas.

let me know! I need a Christmas in August movie for next Saturday! Hubby says the Korean Christmas in August is depressing (it is, but it is a beautiful romance though it has nothing to do with Christmas), and we have already seen Christmas in the Clouds. I am thinking I´ll be Home for Christmas because Jonathon Taylor Thomas gets dumped in the desert while wearing a Santa Suit.

Tomorrow is my Merry Friday Christmas. Lots to do around the house.
Tonight, I'll have to put together a playlist of Christmas songs to listen to tomorrow.

We did a lot of back-to-school shopping today, including 2 pairs of shoes. The only thing left to get are lunch bags. The kids kind of left food in last year's ones  yucky! Also got some ideas for my oldest's birthday (in September) and possibly some Christmas ideas too. She's really into nail art right now and the As Seen on TV store had a stamper for $15 that she really liked. I really enjoy window shopping (and actual shopping when I have money).

I love your Fiday Christmases! I have started doing the same thing, putting on Christmas music while doing my friday bathroom and litter box cleaning (yuck). It makes the time go by faster. Making Confetti Orzo Salad and "mock" Red Lobster cheddar bay bisquits today for our Crayfish Fest on Sunday. With the different colors in the orzo, it reminds me of Christmas! BTW, a bell pepper pack of red, green, and yellow is called a "traffic light" in swedish.

Your Crayfish Fest sounds yummy! Oh, and now you reminded me. I have to clean out the cat box too.

Loved the post about budgeting. We've been on a full budget for four years and there is no greater feeling than being in charge of our money (what little there is). And it makes Christmas a joy, not a burden.

Hubby has an unexpected christmas present. He has been offered the chance to teach a class at one of his former schools. The upside, a nice chunk of money toward our US trip in February. The downside? He will now have 4 jobs. I am really feeling guilty about not being able to get a job. To make it worse, the unemployment office gave us a booklet last week that said administrators are one of the fields in which there is an overage. Great......While I am thankful for the work and money, I would much rather be contributing to the load.

It's great to have you checking in Mrs. C! Glad to hear you're making lists and checking them twice before Christmas!
