What a difference a week makes. I am having a fantastik Monday and hope all my Christmas friends are too.
The weather is so nice. More like summer than fall with daytime highs in the 80's, but the nights are crisp and cool. Perfect for sitting outside and relaxing. Despite our drought, the trees are magnificent. The colors are so bright and beautiful. :peekleaves2:
I plan on stopping by the post office later today and picking up some Christmas postage stamps. I'll be putting them on all my mail from now to the end of the year. :D

So glad to hear your Monday is a great one CK. Here we are still near 90F temps so I continue to struggle [each year!] to feel like it is Autumn. I just use my Indy memories and decorations. :peekleaves2:

Just a couple of weeks and Hallmark starts their Christmas movie season! :D

. And since Halloween will be one of the days we're on the ship, Disney is having a Halloween party (plus on every cruise they have a Pirates on the Caribbean party), so we have to bring costumes. It will be so much fun. (fingers crossed)

When we're down in the States we're hoping to get in some Christmas shopping too and a trip to Bronner's! :D

Sounds like great fun! Hope you have a great time and get some Christmas shopping done as well. :shop:

Listening to Christmas songs trying to lift my spirits! My dear, dear, best friend may be moving far, far away. I am trying to be a good friend and not upset her with my sadness( I have been unsuccessful so far) My heart is breaking but I need to put on my Mommy brave face as my youngest and oldest are best friends with her 2 children as well. I can't break their hearts before we are 100% this is happening. I am praying for strength and braveness to help my friend while they are in the process of making a very difficult decision.

I just had my parents over for turkey tacos at my new house... Now that it finally has furniture in it. While eating dinner, we were listening to some jazz music and the Charlie Brown version of Christmas Time is Here came on over Pandora! My excitement is building daily for the Christmas season! Of course, I have it every other day in the year as well.

Spent my day off with my wife today trying to get things done for our marching band and for ourselves with Christmas. Went to Hobby Lobby and found a Boy Scouts christmas ornament that my wife wanted seeing my son has been in scouts for 7 years. Really not much was going on today, back to the grind tomorrow hope to talk again soon. :smilecc:

hm............turkey tacos....I have 4 cups of shredded turkey in the freezer. Trying to decide how to use them. If we have turkey for Christmas day it will probably be a single turkey breast filet or small turkey ham to round out othe christmas eve leftovers.
