Doesn't Boxing Day follow Christmas?
Happy Boxing Day!

Can you even have Boxing Day without NHL hockey?

Our Christmas decorations will probably be up until the weekend after New Years.

Today we are getting our first big snow storm of the winter season! A projected 20 inches! Thankfully I don't have to drive anywhere today. I can just sit at home and look out at the beautiful Christmassy scene. :snowwow:

Saturday I will be going to my 3 year old nephew's birthday party. I am excited to give him his Christmas present... A sled! This will go perfect with the 20+ inches of snow we are getting today. :shop:

Noel, my friend, you read my mind. I just logged in to start the new thread.

Now remember, in this thread we can talk about anything - how life is going, memorable moments, frustrations, joys, etc.. The only one "rule" is that somewhere in each post you mention the word 'Christmas'. It could be in your greeting or closing - you could just throw it in anywhere as long as it's there.

Have fun and Enjoy! :smilecc:

We got about 6 inches of glorious Christmas day snow. Luckily for us here we got just snow and not the ice and freezing rain they did farther south. At it's worst there were almost 190,000 people in Arkansas without power. Some has been restored but today they said it will be after the new year before all are back on. The forecast for tonight calls for freezing rain for us. Praying that the ice stays away. :holly1:

For the first time in several years we got all of our Christmas activities in by the big day. It's so nice to kick back and relax now. Tonight it's popcorn and movie night with the family. Feeling very blessed. Life is so different for me now, but it's a good life and I wouldn't trade places with anyone. :scene:

Growing up we always took the tree and decorations down right after Christmas. Sometimes even Christmas night. But when I married hubby wanted the tree left up through new years for luck. So that's our family traditon. January 2nd, let the packing away begin. :holly1:
