As much as I would love eating all of the cookies, fudge, and treats from the holidays, I can't and shouldn't. Sharing is a much better idea. On that note, I think I feel like an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie!

That is what St. Knut´s Day is for in Sweden. We will have the undecorating ceremony tomorrow (the undecorating of the kitchen tree) followed by popcorn and hot chocolate. Then for dinner, we will have a small smoked ham in a potatoe casserole with other treats sent to me by a dear Facebook friend in Germany. That post Christmas gift was such a surprise! We were wishing there was more to the "undecorating ceremomy" than just taking down the ornaments but have not come up with anything. The only thing I found on the net was a universalist church took their wednesday night activities and renamed them "undecorating ceremony" for the purpose of well, undecorating on the wednesday after new year´s. Clever idea if I were still a church admin.
I rather liked my kitchen tree. Just need to find a proper star of something to go on top and get some proper ornaments. In July it shall be reincarnated as the Christmas in July tree! Woohoo!

Hope all my Christmas friends are getting well or stay healthy!
