The place for Christmas and non-Christmas chatter.

watching Christmas Twister, a 20 something girl asks what is a CB. Geek coworker says " it´s a smart phone without the smart or the phone...."

this is cute movie and it takes place in a part of Texas I am very familiar with. My family comes from this area....for that reason alone I will have to buy it.

How was Charlie Brown? I love that one. Such a wonderful Christmas message that should be observed every day.

I just got home from a great birthday party for my Dad... First was dinner at the yummy Thai restaurant in town. Next was eating the yummy carrot cake I made for him (with cream cheese frosting of course). Lastly, it was presents (half of which were wrapped in Christmas paper. 62 years young!!! Happy birthday Dad!!

It was great. I failed to make time to watch it this past Christmas.
But that's what Merry Friday Christmases are for. :D

My sleeping hours are crazy after spending nearly 10 days in bed most of the time, so I awoke at 1am and am watching Christmas videos on youtube! Christmas works any time of the day or night for me! :D

Anyone going to the Presidential Inaugural? This year I don't know anyone is making the long expensive trip from here. Hope the weather is snowy but clear like a bright Christmas morning! :D

in all the gambit of christmas movies out there, with MANY new ones coming out every year instead of just a few, it is an "okay" made for tv movie, hubby said your basic disaster movie set at Christmas, so for the average person, I would say watch it on tv before you buy it. I will say the tv producer's accent was a bit over the top.........more like what Swedes expect me to sound like.

I found several full length movies on youtube recently as well. Check out the ABC Afterschool special called Seasonal Differences, It has alot of young people who later became stars in it, including Megan Fallows, though I did not see her credited but it could have been cut off. YouTube is great for watching christmas all year long! I had meant to look for the Charlie Brown Christmas after hubby went to bed, but suddenly found myself tired last night. Maybe today after I finish my normal Friday Christmas cleaning. ;-)
