2013: 2300 Posts til Christmas

The place for Christmas and non-Christmas chatter.

Re: 2013: 2300 Posts til Christmas

Here is something I find interesting. Maybe you will too. (I just love numbers and stats)
The 400th post was made on:
January 28th in 2013 (Ahead of last year by one day)
January 29th in 2012
July 12th in 2011

What difference between 2011 and 2012.
Right now we are averaging 100 Christmas posts every 8.25 days. :snowwow:

As a math consultant for schools, I love the numbers talk! If we can find a way to combine math and Christmas, I am very impressed!

Put away my Christmas windchime on the front porch. When I unboxed my new solar one from Amazon it was a tangled mess. It took me 30 minutes to untwist, unturn, and untighten the strings, but now it shines brightly. All I need is a little wind to make music! :holly1:

We have plenty of wind here in Vt for both your Christmas and solar wind chimes! The temperature is steadily rising to what could be record highs tomorrow (in the 50's). So long snow. Makes me sad

I received an offer in the mail for a Thomas Kincade decoration that would look wonderful in my Christmas village. I really want to get it...

We are melting too. It is strange how damp and above freezing can feel colder than below freezing. It does not look like Christmas at the moment. :snowwow:

It´s not a Christmas tree, but that is a cutie even if the pics are on the side. If I had a job and the room, I could consider that. It would look great with our cupid and heart kitchen curtains!.

Our high pressure was detoured so we're still in the 60s! That's Christmas weather here in the southwest! YAY! :snowwow:

What an interesting day tomorrow is going to be...at 8am the temperature will be in the lower 50's, but dropping to 11 degrees just after dinnertime. Something for everyone...just like Christmas!!

If you have a minute, take a second to look at the additions that I have made to my Christmas website...particularly to the Music and Shopping sections. I hope it makes you smile. :P

Just checked out your site again, kiwi and focused on the music & shopping sections. Love the yule log and links in the music section! And appreciate you adding great online shopping sites for Christmas fans to check out all year! Great job! :smilecc:

Your Christmas web site looks great Kiwi!
One suggestion, change the bright red text to a dark red. The bright red and that shade of green hurts the eyes.
Check out http://www.colourlovers.com/. Look at the WEB tab for web safe color combos.

Keep up the good work! Image
