As a follow up to my interview on friday, I have an interview tomorrow with the employer. A medical school/teaching hospital. Keep praying for that Christmas miracle!

also I do not know how much I have mentioned of my husband´s illness, what we believe to be undiagnosed Rheumatoid arthritis, but he has finally received an appt with a rheumatologist on may 22. Pray for proper diagnosis and quick treatment.

Hope all my Christmas friends had a very happy mother´s day.

Happy Monday! Today starts my dd's last 2 weeks of school. It's gonna be a very busy 2 weeks with so many activities planned. Should be fun but a little sad for me to see her kindergarten year over. She is so smart and doing so well. I know that she's ready for first grade. I'm just not ready to give my baby up. We will be having a new baby in hubby's family this Fall. I love having new babies at Christmas time. :scene:

Still praying for your Christmas miracle Jennifer. And I'm also praying for the doctors to pinpoint your husbands illness and proper treatment. Keep looking up. He is faithful.

This is the Christmas movie I watched the other night (on Netflix). Very good.
It's an ABC Family movie, so they will probably show it again after Thanksgiving.

Hi Jennifer,

We continue to pray for your employment situation and are happyt o pray for this specific interview as well!

And, yes in the past you mentioned how difficult it was to get appointments/treatment on the national health care plan.

Happy Monday, Candy Kane! Awww, I'm so proud of your sweet DD - graduating kindergarten is the first step in her educational career! And, we Mom's always have a bittersweet moment when our children move on a little more independent from us.

How wonderful to have a new baby just in time for Christmas! :D

Taking a trip to Parker tomorrow to help my brother unpack some items. He has accepted a 4-month temporary pastor assignment at the church he preached at for over 20 years! It's a wonderful homecoming. Whether God returns him full-time we'll have to wait and see.

The area is so expensive because it is on the Colorado River with California on one side of the river and Arizona on the other side. There were only 2 rentals available!! He has a trailer - small but clean & neat. So he'll be leaving much of his 'stuff' here with me until God opens a full-time door.

It will be 109F tomorrow in Parker so my sandals are ready to go! I love unwrapping packages so its a little Christmas joy in the task! :D

Thought I'd share this beautiful poem: WE ARE THE REASON by Don Moen

As little children
We would dream of Christmas morn
Of all the gifts and toys
We knew we'd find
But we never realized
A baby born one blessed night
Gave us the greatest gift of our lives

We were the reason
That He gave His life
We were the reason
That He suffered and died
To a world that was lost
He gave all He could give
To show us the reason to live

As the years went by
We learned more about gifts
The giving of ourselves
And what that means
On a dark and cloudy day
A man hung crying in the rain
All because of love, all because of love

We were the reason
That He gave His life
We were the reason
That He suffered and died
To a world that was lost
He gave all He could give
To show us the reason to live

I've finally found the reason for living
It's in giving every part of my heart to Him
In all that I do every word that I say
I'll be giving my all just for Him, for Him

We were the reason
That He gave His life
We were the reason
That He suffered and died
To a world that was lost
He gave all He could give
To show us the reason to live

He is my reason to live

That is a cute christmas movie. I think they made a follow up, but I have not seen that one yet. One of the plusses to returning to the US is all the great Christmas movies! :scene:
