We are still deciding on the day........Perky normally says July 24 since Swedes celebrate "christmas" on Christmas eve and Christmas day is just a lay around and do nothing day. It is also a constant source of "arguments". But, we will be on the cruise July 24-25. I am thinking Saturday, July 27. Believe me, if we were in the vicinity of Christmas friends and had AC, you would be most welcome! Had we moved to Texas we were going to try to introduce Christmas in July.

I put some Hawaiian Christmas music on the mp4 this week. I can´t wait to listen to it! Also added a few more DVD´s to the stack by the tv in the bedroom. I keep hoping they will release Off Season on DVD, but so far no luck. I only had a taped from tv copy and it is not compatible with the european dvd player.

Woohoo! I just hit Bulb Tester! Climbing up the Christmas ladder! Not sure I will make Toy Maker by Christmas, once I start work I won´t have much time during the day.

Perky and I have been fixing pants today. We are round, short elves and buying clothes is difficult. 2 pairs of jeans for me taken in and 1 pair about to be finished with the hemming. This is no Christmas fun.

Watching Snowmaggedon as I hem. I owe Perky an apology, it is a christmas movie. He kept saying snowglobe and I thought he had it mixed up with another movie called Snowglobe which I watched before I came here. Did they ever make a follow up to that? It was too Christmas cute.

Yes that is the one I remember. I am glad Syfy is making Christmas movies now. It makes a nice change of Christmas pace.

After a horrible night of not sleeping, I was looking at the bottom of the computer and the calendar and trying to figure out what day it was. Then it dawned on me, the calendar was turned to October, after having spoken with my parents yesterday and given them our tentative thanksgiving vacation dates. My aunt wanted us to come for thanksgiving and stay until Christmas! Sadly, not this year, but maybe in the future.

When I finally figured out we were on Wed, the 17th, then I realized it is only 3 more days until Christmas in July! Woohoo!

this is really good, sounds like it was a radio program, but I follow OTR and have never heard of these. A different kind of Christmas.
