Monday was the 1 month mark since the plumbing flood. Yesterday all the furniture was loaded into a mini-mobile unit in the front yard. Wallpsper removal & painting started today & hopefully the floors start next week.
I hope to be back in the house mid-late August. Take cate & God bless!

Hubby has 1 more week off. He starts Aug. 13, then we will be two gainfully employed people and off the doll. Woohoo!

We both woke up for work, and neither of us felt like going in, so we both decided to work from home yesterday, and let the kids stay home for the day. It was very relaxing, even though I was still working! Then later, we went to our friends' son's birthday party, and hung out with them till after 11:00 last night! So we are tired today, but had a great time! I am so thankful for such great friends, and our kids are great friends with theirs so it works out so well! They are having my son over this evening again to play, and my daughter is at my Grandma's until later this evening when the hubs will bring her home, so I get this evening ALL TO MYSELF! Going to go home and clean and rearrange my dining room/craft room. I had such a feeling of accomplishment a few days ago, because I was trying to start on that room and after 4 years of being married, I FINALLY printed out pictures to put in all of the picture frames I got at my bridal shower! lol So since I got those frames moved out of there, it inspired me to reorganize the dining/craft room and all of my scrapbooking/quilting stuff! Yay for free time with no kids to work on it tonight!! I think this will be my official start of my Christmas season cleanup!!
