As you can tell, I have started to be a little more open as far as names and we what we look like. It's OK to be anonymous online, but I figure if all of this info is on Facebook, then it can be here too. You all accepted me into this family almost two years ago and I feel comfortable sharing this info with you all. Even newcomers if they see it. All of you have become a part of my life, and I feel blessed to be in a small part of yours.
God bless my Christmas family!

Nice pic! I have not posted pics because I have not gotten the required photo account. I just have no desire to mess with anything else. I have facebook and reluctantly LInkedIn, but not Twitter or anything else that will come in the future. Hubby buys me all sorts of gadgets but it takes me a long time to "make friends" and accept them. I have already been informed I am getting a new netbook for Christmas in August. :shop:

This reminds me of my childhood church and the "Christmas in August" we celebrated.

Today is my last free day. Going to the store for a quick grocery run, then making tuna pasta salad for lunches this week. August and the first week of September are very busy for univ admins so you may not hear much out of me in the next few weeks. I will try to catch up on the weekends. Can´t miss Christmas in August! I wonder if QVC is having a program this year. We watched Seoul Mates from Northern Exposure last night. It is a cute Christmas episode.

Nice artice, Christmas Crazy. We watch Christmas movies through January and as mentioned before swedish christmas decoration do not officially come down until Jan 13, but we usually stretch it until the last weekend of the month.

I just read an article on http://realthanksgiving.com/ that said
"Americans see Thanksgiving and Christmas as part of the same season." and
"77 percent of americans say Thanksgiving is part of their Christmas celebrations."

As I thought about it, I'm in the 77 percent.
Thanksgiving day is the day I start putting up the Christmas tree.
Right after lunch, me and boys go into the attic and fetch the tree.
Last year, I got the tree up so fast that we had time to decorate it that same day.
Then, after we eat leftovers for supper, we watch a Christmas movie on Thanksgiving day. (Miracle on 34th Street)

We try to watch Miracle on 34th street but to me it is still "Thanksgiving" until the next day. My mother used to transform the house in one day on the day after Thanskgiving, but my cousin said in her family they put up the Christmas tree after Thanksgiving dinner.

Sending Christmas Greetings from the work computer. Seems I am a Toy Maker at work too. I wonder why my home computer makes me a Bulb Tester.
