That's been my experience with an autistic nephew too. He comes to our house and enjoys the Christmas decorations but if they to decorate in his home it truly upsets/confuses him. So they come here alot! :D

Merry Friday Christmas from muggy Sweden. I am SO ready for some Christmas weather! This weekend we will change out the duvet covers and kitchen curtains for some fall atmosphere, but for the first time since I have been here, it will be more on the inside (like Texas) than outside.

The newspaper said we will have a "cool down" this weekend. Only a high of 85 on Saturday.
Say what! That's not a cool down!

Where are you Fall?
I am so ready for Christmas. (As soon as the Christmas savings check arrives from the credit union)

Thats what I do too -- in a normal year. Right now I'm still unboxing, realizing some more items must 'go' [charity] and think Christmas decorating may be late this year. Enjoy your beautiful indoor Autumn atmosphere Jolly! :leafjump:

I love Autumn because to me it signals Christmas is coming.........plus the crisp air & outdoor beauty give reflection on the cycle of life [to me].

We're supposed to be down to 105F this coming week..........I can only pray! :D

I changed my facebook cover photo to some generic "fall" scene from the net. Maybe it will encourage the weather to change. I asked Perky if we should change the kitchen curtains or wait until October. He said if we change them the weather might change. He is cute and longs for Christmas too.

Have the chance to work fulltime for 4 weeks which would be nice for the Christmas budget, but it not that simple. If it is admin work, I would jump at it. If it is more "slave work", I am not sure my body can take it. However, the last thing I want them to think is that I cannot do the job as technically, I am still temporary.
