Not good and not fair! I hope you both find long term employment soon.
Knowing that your jobs may be ending after the first year, can make it difficult to budget for Christmas.

Two days till Swedish Thanksgiving! We will cook the turkey tomorrow and have the big meal. Then leftovers after church on Sunday. So much easier that way. You know, I now wonder how my mother and grandmother did it........do the cooking, decorating, etc and then still have time to get themselves dressed and looking nice. NOt possible. The table may be decked out, but we will be in "at home" clothes. We even bought turkey "gourmet" cat food for the cats.
